La Mer / Jumeirah Beach Road
Remember the Jumeirah open beach? If its been a while since you went there you will be in for a surprise. While we have been stuck inside for the last three months, the area has transformed into a sprawling beach and beachside park. With surfboards and paddle boards lining the walkways and a promenade packed with cafes, pop up stalls and ice cream shops. This new and exciting area is the perfect place for a dip in the sea and a bite to eat, trying water sports or having a relaxing stroll.
The 1.24 million square metres of existing and reclaimed land is the first phase of La Mer, which will open fully next year with a waterpark, a cinema, cabana’s and day rooms plus more cafes, restaurants and bars.
Dubai Parks & Resorts
Experience three amazing theme parks, one waterpark and the incredible village in the desert called Riverland. With hundreds of rides and entertainment at Legoland, Motiongate and Bollywood Park plus live shows and a huge array of cafes and restaurants, this incredible area - just 20 minutes drive from Dubai Marina has to be seen to be believed. Prices start at AED 95 and annual passes at just AED295 for two parks and unlimited visits.
Dubai Garden Glow
The largest glow-in-dark garden is reopen for the winter season and this year there is something extra special with an incredible sculpture of a polar bear made from 5000 tons of ice.
The dinosaurs are back too with 100 animatronic beasts ready to roam.

Al Quadra Lakes and Last Exit
Take a ride just 10 minutes from Arabian Ranches and find a different side to Dubai with these manmade lakes, a 70km cycle track, hundreds of species of birds and other wildlife including oryx and falcons, plus a fab new food truck area.
Whether you want to explore the great outdoors or just feast on an organic burger at Last Exit - a food truck concept designed around an equestrian theme - Al Quadra is the place to go this winter. There are also bikes to hire for teens and adults who fancy a cycle through the desert.
